Interesting take on rock-paper-scissors! Learning the strategies of the different enemy types was pretty neat, and I especially enjoyed the art and color palette. Very cool to have a bright accent color that stands out from the blue!

I played this on stream today (recording here) in case you’re interested in watching someone play your game. Nice job!

The gameplay, graphics, and soundtrack were great! It gave me dragon quest monster vibes but for necromancers! Great job!

This is a very nice turn based RPG. I enjoyed learning the battle system, and it felt satisfying landing super effective hits. The graphics were superb, and the writing was very neat. I got a little sad when the game ended, I wanted more! Amazing job!

This game was great all around! Very charming, both in art style and writing, and I had a good time figuring out the enemy attack patterns. Very impressive entry!

Loved this so much, the rock paper scissor like mechanics was simple yet so engaging! Can't wait to find out the gold was the worf's we made along the way rest of the story if you do continue it. I would die for Worf as many times as he dies for me haha. The colour pallet is really well used in the art and its creates a very appealing visual style. Plus the artwork is very gorgeous.

Fun little game, but i was only able to get a bit in before it soft locked on me. my skelly died and when I went to swap it out the game just locked up and I could not select anything.

I had 3 skellys, worf and 2 choir's. one of the choir's died and thats when it locked on me. hope that helps find the bug.

Sorry about that, I'll see if I can recreate and fix the bug post-review period

This one was a fun one, I loved the fighting mechanics and the dynamic between worf and the player was very funny and fun. I would love to see more out of this game

Really good game ! The game design graphics and music are awesome :)

Very nice - I like the twist on the rock-paper-scissors mechanic and mixing it with a turn-based RPG system!

And since this is not a traditional RPG with levels + leveling up - fighting the cyclops is tough! But I wanna swing back around and see if I can beat him next time around.

Great work on this game! :D

This game has the most character and charm of any submission I've played, by far! Worf is such a well-written, funny and loveable character. "What even are you?" "I'm level 2!" Brilliant xD

On top of that the gameplay is simple yet addictive. Very clever rock-paper-scissors style combat system. Can't believe how much polish went into this in 10 days.

Do you plan on continuing the game's development after the jam? I'd love to see more! Either way, you've gained a new follower. Brilliant entry :)

Immaculate representation and a neat spin “rock-paper-scissors” combat system. The call out the bones moments still feel epic no matter how many times I did it.

Visually the game is stunning, the only small “issue” I have is the bright white flashes on combat, that could have a more toned down colors (cyan for ex).

OST and sfx are great, a smidge to loud though!

The game has the vibes and looks to be a gameboy one, good idea implemented beautifully!

Awesome designs and pixel art. The humor was also really good. I had a bug in one of the battles where I could not select anything and I could not finish the game, when selecting a resurrected monster from my team.

Sorry about that! That'll go on my list of things to fix after the jam. I hope you enjoyed it regardless!

gorgeous art and music/sfx! very charming game, i really liked that the  battle icons made it immediately clear which was which of their rock, paper, scissor equivalents

the skele bois are so sick! Are you supposed to know what they're about to throw out or is it kinda guess work rock, paper, scissors? I understood the mechanic but couldnt figure out if I was actually supposed to know. Either way great job!

Developer

Glad you liked the game!! Every enemy starts from a random point in their attack sequence, but after a few turns you can figure out where in the sequence they are, and predict what they'll do next!

I love the art and humor!

Wow! Loved Worf's dialogue, it somehow reminded me of Sans :)
The combat system is easy to understand and challenging at the same time.
The art is so good and the story is really funny.
Super good job on this entry!

Really loved the game, fully 5 stars. Played all the way trough with some challenge but was getting the patterns very quickly in my head.

I really love the art and story with Worf, it really gave me Undertale vibes (I assume you went with that idea?).

Very well done game could be a winner for me!

very cool experience! i love the colour choices and enemy designs

Very graphically rich experience, with a solid soundtrack to boot and compelling lore. Simply exploring the city and its outskirts alone is an immersive experience. However, the gameplay itself is rather half-baked and doesn't do much to complement the story. Future development could explore further the aspect of recruiting your own skeleton army to deliver a unique experience, which I would argue is the brighest spot in the game from a gameplay standpoint.
