It's a shame you couldn't finish this! The vibes are great -- just being able to see by the light of your headlamp is pretty scary!
Yeah, tell me about it. I started off strong but didn't have enough free time to finish. I was really excited about the headlamp idea. I'm probably still going to go through with finishing this game since I took the time to do the pixel art for it. Thank you for giving it a look!
Really love the art as others have said, would love to see it fully fleshed out. Honestly loved the lil throwing animation of the pickaxes lol
Thanks so much! I've never really created any pixel art so just getting that first character done was a real feat for me. Glad you noticed that you could throw pickaxes cause I didn't mention anything about it, a failure on my part. So glad you checked it out an liked the artwork!
I'm not sure if I missing something since the cover has other stuff but I wasn't able to do anything past the first room, If that's just because its unfinished that's ok, otherwise maybe some kind of instruction or prompt would've helped. The art is cute and silly though, the miner guy especially is super charming and fun, awesome job for what little time you had!!!
Yeah, it's unfinished. I was hoping to have more time for the jam but unfortunately, that didn't happen. You aren't missing anything, I was getting started on building the first level and I ran out of time. Thanks for checking it out and giving your opinion on what was present, I really appreciate it!
