I liked this a lot, definitely got the anxiety flowing with the music and intensity too aha - very realistic and a super fun and unique concept paired well with the actual game mechanic, whats the longest someones even lived?? I could only make 60s

A friend got to 257! Their strategy was to just keep scrolling slowly haha, we may have overdone it with the number of mazes at the same time. Thanks for checking it out!

What a unique idea!

Really enjoyed the concept especially how you approached the theme and anxiety, and all of the art throughout.

The sound really added to the dread vibes and panic to try and keep the bad thoughts at bay.

Perfect scope for a jam game and really enjoyed the use of the scroll wheel.

Cracking job!

This is certainly one of the more unique entries in the jam and i love the art style. Would have been really nice to have a sensitivity slider for the scrolling, tried to play on my track-pad and was uncontrollable but when swapped to mouse was super slow.

Thanks! Ah sorry about that. Yeah I wish I had spent more time on accessibility. I'm thinking about going back and adding a settings menu for those kinds of things since I think it'd be a good thing to learn. Appreciate the feedback!

Very nice game. The maze mechanic is very original. I think it could be more interesting if the mazes themselves have some kind of other things to solve in addition to getting out. I didn't notice that they have timers until the first one broke, so that could be emphasized more, but I also think there could be some more interesting stuff as well where you could maybe jump over some thing or teleport or something within the maze.

The game gets overwhelming quite quickly but I think it captures the theme quite well and also is very original, nice job!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah I'd love to go back and improve the difficulty ramp-up. I think it could be more interesting to increase the difficulty in other ways than just spamming more mazes... things like increased maze rings or introduce obstacles to jump over like you suggested! Thanks for the feedback, I super appreciate it!

The spinning mouse wheel maze is such a cool game mechanic! I also love how the character and music get more intense as the mental damage accumulates lol. Nice job!

Thank you so much! We had wanted to take it a bit further (start with color and get more desaturated, background changing to look dirtier/cluttered) but had to cut it for time
