  • It's great to have tools like this for the GBA!
  • Super cool! Who needs Google Maps when you have GB Maps? :) It's a shame that there is no music, a relaxing song would be great for your entry.
  • A wildly ambitious project, which is very cool when it works (sadly not all the time). I found it can map shorter routes no problem, but when I tried e.g. a 2 hour trip from Brighton to Greenwich it couldn't find a route (yet wasn't rejected as too long). It seems to only give routes for cars, not pedestrians, which is a shame but understandable given the memory constraints. The UI is a bit janky in places, but on the whole functions well. I tried to break it by going to Lands End and wandering into the ocean, but it held up fine! All in all, its a bit too limited to be useful, but extremely cool that it exists at all!
  • Fun little concept - I can see my house from here!
  • On a technical level, a super impressive project! Unfortunately, I don't live in the UK and wasn't able to try walking about with it, maybe someday!
  • would never have thought to even try making something like this fit in the space of a normal 32MiB cart, but here we are! really impressive

Oh wow, this is super cool, I can see how to go from home to work with this! It would be nice to have some audio with the directions, as a future addition.

Developer

I'm not sure there's ROM space... maybe though!

That's really cool! Is this open source? It would be great to be able to add my own maps.

Not yet! I'll try clean it up after the jam.
