How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The game treats “old gold” as both treasure and curse. You board a ship that looks empty but still runs on the greed of the dead.

The lure mechanic was really cool. I made it as far as I could before I ran out of coins. Made a lot of accidental button clicks early and wasted a bunch of coins.
Really fun game, and the visuals gave me a strong classic Game Boy feeling. Nicely done!
One suggestion: it would be great to have a way to recover the coins after a mistake, or at least restart only the current section instead of having to repeat everything.
Cool game! I like the idea of luring enemies with coins. Unfortunately I could also not reach the end as I eventually ran out of coins at "The Spiral"

This is a lot of fun, some really great puzzle mechanics. I did have the same issue another comment mentioned, when I was figuring out the game at the beginning I put down a lot of unecessary coins and then got softlocked later on. But I was able to reach the end on a second go :)
A great game! I like the gameplay tho the enemy AI is somewhat dumb.
