Well... all you need to do is kill them with the uzis, really... i confess i haven't tested the build on UZDoom, because i'm still an old hog who uses GZDoom 4.10 for pure convenience.
But thanks for letting me know. I'll download the latest UZDoom to see if i can replicate this issue.
