A quite literally underrated game. (Thank you for publishing a web version by the way)

It is full of charm especially in Brioche's inner monologue, the overworld art, and the VGM. The bark button is peak sound design and UI/UX.

I also got stumped at "Can you see it?" but luckily saw a non-spoiler hint on Discord, and then I finally worked out what the objective was. I like the esoteric narrative framing of the puzzle gameplay, it would be perfect if taught the player a little more clearly without being too obvious. The puzzles got pretty challenging towards the end, and I liked the final puzzle a lot as you sort of develop a mental map as you retry it.

I also accidentally skipped a lot of dialogue, but it's not the end of the world (which I plan to replay to see). I just started rolling my own dialogue system and it's interesting to think about creative implementations for dialogue advancing. I made a crude prototype for normal/faster visible_characters reveal using tweens that doesn't seem like too messy of code.

Also very impressed to see a team of your size coordinate so well. Good job to you all!

Just finished playing through! I am a puzzle lover, and I really had to think through some of these. Very well designed puzzles, and they don't get *too* out of hand.

Also, some of the best music I've heard all jam, bravo to your composer(s)! My *only* complaint here was in the final section the candle swaps got rid of the rock beat, so I spent a lot of time thinking in the teal dimension so I could hear it more. :)

I have one piece of minor feedback, which is the dialogue skipping with Z is something I expected to show the rest of the line instead of skip the line entirely. I am a masher when it comes to non-instant text so I found myself doing this a lot and missing some words.

Y'all are a talented group of people, well done on this one.

I sadly got stuck at “can you see it” as I still had a sigil at the very end that doesn’t have any correlating tiles on the screen, so I’m not sure how you are supposed to deal with that. Other than that and maybe a redo instead of a reset is the two things that I wish would be more clear/implemented, otherwise the game is super neat, has a cool story ine, letsgo brioche, the all consuming!

Graphics wise the game juggles multiple palettes, has cool sprites and a lovely stage design, I do wish the “cracked from the side in the middle horizontally” tiles had bigger crack as they are not clear to be a non-walkable tile for me at first. Nothing gamebreaking though!

Music and sfx were neat, I really vibed whit that you have put down!

Overall a cool interpretation of the theme and a lovely puzzle game idea!

This was a great puzzle game! I'm so surprised this doesn't have more ratings! The soundtrack was great, the pixel art is amazing, and the puzzles were just right in difficulty. Amazing job!
