Love the art style, and the character has a nice bit of personality to how he moves

Nice game, and I really liked the art style.

The controls felt a bit too fast for some of the platforming, which made a few jumps more frustrating than they needed to be. I also found the camera movement during jumps a little distracting.

With a bit of tuning there, I think it would feel much smoother to play.

Really neat little game, nice color palette, camera and the vibes. The only 2 things I noticed is that its not pixel perfect and sometimes the camera goes so high you don't see what's under the character so it's a bit easier to fall. But I really had fun and it's very dynamic, reminds me of classic games like Kirby or Dizzy

I actually used Kirby as an inspiration for the character sprites, because my previous try didn't look that good. And for the camera: I am not sure when this happens, but if you are on the floor you can also look down or up with the down and up key (you have to press it longer).

This is your second gamejam game? Nice entry, what game engine are you using? Keep in mind more people will try your game if you make an html5 version ;)

The character feels nice,  with him reacting to the look up and down. Level design is a bit to spread out for gameboy resolution and there are some small polish areas. But overall fun little entry!

Keep at it!!!

Thank you. I am using python and pygame and I ran out of time for a html5 version, because I have not done it before. I'll try it next time.  And for the level design: I never played on a game boy because I am too young.
