If you're worried about AI, just don't. AI is a tool and it doesn't replace your unique touch and thoughts, you might use it to just help you if you lack the sources or skills in things other than programming. It's not bad and it's not essential, it's an option for both the player and the developer.
But if you're worried about the views, this could be different. You should ask yourself what is my goal? Do I want to share the game with others so they enjoy it? Do I want to earn money from it? Do I want it just to be popular? Because each path will guide you to some strategy that you can follow.
I'd just like to say that it's never too late to do the thing you're passionate about. Passion knows no limits. It's all about the expectations you hold against them. ✌️
