This was pretty interesting! There were quite a few different options to choose from, so it looks like there are lots of different ways that you could build a run. For my playthrough, I basically just Might maxxed, but I played around a bit with some other options like the Shield + Tidal Waves stuff just to see how it might work. A lot of the enemies had some pretty cool mechanics, too. Though, I wonder if there was a way you could have the first level enemies do something more interesting than just basic attacks while keeping them simple and straight-forward for the player to get a handle on the mechanics. Since everything is strictly beneficial, the "Skip" option doesn't really seem to mean much - seems like it only would come into play if all your options are at the cap already. As always, the game was very humorous and got quite a few laughs from me. Also, nice job being able to fit so many of the themes in there as well. Would be interesting to see what kind of unique mechanics the other theme's bosses could have.

How does your game fit the Magical Girl Genre?
The protagonist, Shiori, is a magical girl with water magic. The chapter 1 boss, Victoria, is also a magical girl with healing magic.
Which theme(s) do you pick?
Blue Library as the main theme, with all other themes being referenced.
How does your game fit those theme(s)?
Blue Library: You play as the librarian of the Blue Library, and must defend it against troublemakers. Priestess of Victory: The chapter 1 boss is the Priestess of Victory, a priestess who has (allegedly) always been victorious. Grayscale Stage: Chapter 2 features enemies with a grayscale colour scheme, who treat the library as though it were a concert stage. The Battle Dogs: Most of the game is the protagonist battling those who disturb the library. Hell Burns Red / Moon Rails: There are random events in which you may find a burning book, or a moon-themed book.
If you follow any of the optional challenges, elaborate as you like.
Gambling addict: The game is a roguelite, with different random events and battle rewards each run. Some random events may also offer a gamble, such as a donut which can either heal or poison you. I am special: Battle rewards come in different tiers (1-star/2-star/3-star). Limit break: There is a limit to how high your stats can get during a run. This limit can be increased via the Research system.
Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
Some graphics, namely the jelly-filled donuts and the burning book that can appear in a random event, are reused from my previous projects. The transitions between screens are from my previously released asset pack. The sound effects used in combat are free stock assets (excluding the ones used in the UI and the BGM, which were created during the jam). Everything else was created during the jam.
