Nice start, the sprites are nice and it has that proper Game Boy feel. I could see it being something like Pilot Quest from UFO 50 where you delve deeper into the mine and fight monsters or something while you expand your gold operation.

Thanks for the kind words. Whilst I can’t take credit for the art (short of the title card) I got into pixel art specifically through doing little demake style screenshots of games if they were for the gameboy, so trying to make it feel authentic and GB feeling was important to me, so glad that it lands there.
