I like the idea of having a game boy tower defense game! And having different difficulty levels is pretty cool too.
I am not sure if I am missing something but the game doesn't seem to tell you how much each defense costs, which is a bit confusing when you can only place crossbows at first.

Thank you so much. Yes, that’s one of the bugs I haven’t been able to fix because of my other commitments.

I like the idea of a Game Boy-style tower defense game, but the controls are a bit confusing, and I couldn’t figure out how to place any traps other than the arrow traps. I really liked the entrance animations and the difficulty selection, though. Don’t abandon the project!

Thank you, but i’ll abbandon the project. I just want the games I make for game jams to be small projects for learning, not projects that could turn into major games

Nice work on that difficulty screen, the flat pyramid in gold and plum is a strong piece of composition and it sets the tone before the game starts. and putting four difficulty tiers was a great touch, good job

Developer

Thank you, it’s probably the best thing I’ve done for the game. But I’m still not fully convinced

a little hard to understand what's going on at first, and the controls are a bit confusing, but once you figure it out the fundamentals work quite well

maybe im missing something but i couldn't manage to make use of any of the traps except for the arrows

Thank you, unfortunately I had several commitments during the creation of the game and I couldn’t fix it as I wanted. And in fact it has a lot of problems
