IT WAS LIKE PROVE MOM WRONG BY SPITTING BARS!!!

I think my biggest problem with this game is that I sometimes get lost.

Well, that was an hour well spent!  After completing the goal, I thought "I'm really enjoying digging now", so dug a bit, and was rewarded with something new in the shop.  And, then, of course, I kept digging.  I thought I was probably just wasting my time and would share a funny screenshot.  And then you rewarded that as well!  Just wonderful =).  My only complaint is my fingers are sore - a lot of holding down run + vacuum or similar combo gets pretty tiring, if instead you had 1 passive slot to assign to anything (run, vacuum, etc) and it was always on, and 1 active slot, that'd probably have been a bit easier on the ol' fingers.  Sound and music were quite nice, sounds very satisfying, and I enjoyed the music all the way through.

When I played Zelda Links Awakening DX on Gameboy as a kid I would go up and down the screen digging up the entire island looking for secret shells. This game took me back, so top points for GB Soul. If only I had access to these shovel upgrades back then lol.

Loved the story bits . Nice job!

What did you do all day? Oh, I dug holes in a game.  If incrementals were a thing back in the gameboy era, this could've definitely been one of them with the look and feel it's got. Nice job

What a wonderfully fun adventure! Movement is clean and intuitive, and the art is purposeful and charming. It was nice going from the basic down-n-up to blazing across the landscape!

The audio is mixed a little loud; regular gameplay peaks the audio above +0.0 dB.

All-in-all, fantastic! Great work!

All I ask for a jam game, simple concept, and addictive. Love the calm palette. I just wished some upgrades likes the compass or vacuum would just be passive instead of in need of being set to a key. But this was just so fun and relaxing. Great job !
