How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The game is about 2 goldfish in an old house, It's intended to be a hypothetical of a concept developers of the time might've tried.

I like the concept and the game itself looks vibrant and quirky with some nice music. Of course, it would be nice to have more levels and additional mechanics like an air meter where, once it runs out, costs you a life. One thing to consider also is to have a button where you switch between fish instead of controlling them both at once.
Overall, though, this has a ton of potential and I would love to see it become a full game.
Coincidentally, I made a goldfish game, too. Want to try it out?
This definitely feels little bit unfinished, but you should might expand more levels in the game and maybe add some music in the game as well.
Even as a prototype, I think this has a lot of strong points! The color palette is really well chosen, the sprites and animations look great, and the background music adds a lot to the atmosphere without becoming distracting or repetitive.
It took me a little while to get used to the controls, especially Oldie’s, but after some practice I can see them working really well in more challenging levels. There’s definitely a lot of potential here!
While the graphics are somewhat great, the controls are weird, the audio is too quiet, the the prototype did not adequately fit the theme to me... Try raising the volume next time, and also you could avoid those weird controls next time, alright?
Really liked the graphics and the color scheme on this one! I checked this out on stream today (recording here), though as you mentioned, it’s a prototype and not really a full game so there wasn’t too much to do. Regardless, I’m impressed by how smooth the art and animations are, so it would be amazing to see a more fleshed out game with this level of polish!
I really like the concept! I hope you'll keep moving forward with this idea preferably by adjusting the controls so you can play it on the computer. I love how you've approached the “gold old” topic, hahaha
I am not nearly coordinated enough to be trying to control two characters at the same time by myself :D. But I like the idea and the lore behind it that you pondered about.
The concept of controlling two characters is really neat! I thought somehow it was a puzzle where both fish must enter the cloud.
I really enjoyed the concept a fish jumping around and making it's way around. There is gameboy soul and looking forward, if you keep developing, the additions to this game! Keep up the work and props to concepting and developing!
I love the artstyle and concept - I think the odd controls and moving multiple characters at once could be a strong basis for a puzzle platformer. I understand this is listed as a prototype, and you mention that it was more of an experiment to familiarize yourself with Godot, and I think to that end this is a really strong start!
I played around with this for a bit, but I can't tell, is there any goal or feedback of any kind? If not, it might be good to note that on the game page (and, if so, I want to come back and try a bit more). I love the quicky controls of controlling two characters at once. The goldfish graphics and also fantastic, really nicely animated and feels good to jump around.
