Quickplay Lab: are the duel controls and first puzzle clear? [free browser]

We’re looking for first-play feedback on two small browser prototypes: https://sitzo.itch.io/quickplay-lab

Pulse Duel: two people on one device wait for PULSE, then press A or L. Please try one first-to-five match. Were the signal and early-strike penalty clear? Did you finish, and did you both choose to play another match? If finding a second player stopped you trying it, that is useful feedback too. This is local multiplayer, not online.

Relay Grid: play solo and turn pipe tiles to connect IN to OUT. Please try the first board. Did you solve it, did you use hints, and did you choose to continue? Where did you get stuck or lose interest?

You only need to try one game. Please say which one and whether anything prevented you from playing. Both are free with no sign-up. These are AI-assisted prototypes; the games have no player telemetry, so comments help us understand what actually happened. Thanks!

Not a play report, just a thought on your second-player question from someone who fought the same problem 🎮 Same-device 2P needs another person in the room at the exact moment someone clicks the link, and most itch visitors arrive alone. What fixed it for my arena game was bots that fill the empty seat and say so on screen.

Could Pulse Duel get a solo practice mode against a bot that reacts to PULSE, so a lone visitor feels the timing before recruiting a friend?

ok( bar13.itch.io )

I tried Relay Grid. Here's my feedback:

- Understanding the rules: I picked them up pretty quickly.

- Progress: I played through six levels.

- Hints: I didn't use any.

- Continuing: I kept playing after the first board, but stopped after six levels.

- Losing interest: The difficulty didn't seem to increase as I progressed, so it started to feel repetitive. I would have liked more of a challenge in the later levels.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for trying it. When you say six levels, what did you count as a level? Where did it first start feeling repetitive?

I played 6 levels.

لقد جربت برنامج Relay Grid. إليكم ملاحظاتي:

استخدمت ىبعض التلميحات

لم نهي كل المستويات ولامن هناك مستويات

اصيحت العبة اسهل مع التقدم والمستويات تتكرر

I tried Relay Grid. The IN/OUT goal and tap-to-rotate control were clear, and I connected the first board in 11 turns. I tapped "Show a hint" once before solving, but didn't notice any visible change, so I couldn't tell whether a hint had  appeared. I stopped after the first board for this playtest, not because I hit a blocker. A more obvious hint response would help.
