The game is nice and funny, but when the ship hits an enemy the bounce is too big… and when you end up off-screen, you basically can’t tell what’s going on anymore. =)

The knockback also depends on how fast you hit enemies.
That said, the web version has caused quite a few issues, including problems with the game's overall speed and, as a result, the knockback...
So yes, you're right, it feels weird, we weren't able to update the game in time.
We'll fix it once voting is over.
