if your mom finds out about your game, pretty sure doom will come sooner xd!. fun idea needs some work on controls to make it more fun
if my mom sees this game, i'll get to test how realistic the endings are. what would you suggest for the controls??
oh i saw you didnt have time for dishes mechanics.. its okay happens in game jams looking forward to play it again after the jam, if you plan to update it!
yeah, I will update it probably a few hours to days after the jam ends.
Good game but far too much time is spent waiting. The dishes should at least require a button press for each. The chicken is fine, you can heat it up while you do other tasks. I think you should be able to interact with the couch to nap until mom gets home so you can skip the timer (and the timer should be shorter as well)
For the dishes to be non-interactive, they sure take a long time. Literally 2 out of the 5 minutes for a playthrough are spent watching dishes...do themselves.
I really enjoyed the fail sequence where Mom goes all Carrie White.

yeah, I'll try to update the game when the jam is over to make the dishes interactive.

Really enjoyed the concept of this one!
Felt like a kid again, and the anxiety was real.
Foiled by the dishes, as always. This is why dishwashers are necessary :D

hell yeah
Short but funny and cool. The music stopped playing after a bit and did not loop also completing the tasks still has you wait which i mean yeah makes sense but its not fun in-game.
Also i ended up playing the desktop build as the web build after cleaning the table the cursor gets unlocked.
Overall relatable fun quick game!

Chicken and sink tasks were a little boring, otherwise i had a good time
