Great game! Very responsive and controlled movement along with good level design make the game pretty fun. Though, I'll admit that I only got to the top of the second screen in the ice level haha. There's nothing wrong with having a game similar to an existing game for a jam, but if you guys continue to work on this in the future, I'd look for some other mechanics to make your game stand out a bit more. Other than that, I agree that the diagonal pixels and mixels need some touching up. But ignoring those small critiques, you guys got something good here.

Thanks for all of this! Not sure if we're gonna keep working on it but I agree if we were to keep cooking, would def want to make it more unique, less blatant clone. Yeah definitely didn't know how GB some things were going to be and how/where to push (also growing up in the PS2/360 era meant my relationship with GB is very minimal rip). Really appreciate you checking it out <3
