I'm currently working on a small indie game project, and I'm looking for a 3D artist / 3D generalist who would like to work together on developing the project.
I'd like to find someone who is interested in helping shape the game itself.
## The current idea is:
**Analyze mysterious / magical crystals.**
The player works with different types of crystals and uses a machine or laboratory equipment to analyze them.
For example, a crystal could have properties such as:
-Amount of Magical energy in crystal in total and how many percent of each energy type in its(fire/water/void/...ect)
- Temperature
- Vibration / frequency
- Stability
- Other unknown properties that the player has to discover
Then we noted and send the note to other reseacher, yeah if you already know Voices of the void you will find its simillar.
I'd like to develop a gameplay loop around discovering what the crystals actually are, experimenting with them, and figuring out how they can be used.
However, this part is still being designed.
That's actually one of the reasons I'm making this post.
## What I'm looking for
###3D Artist / 3D Generalist
Someone who can help create things such as:
- Laboratory equipment
- Crystal containers
- Magical crystals
- Pipes / machinery
- Research equipment
- Props and environmental objects
- Simple stylized environments
###1 Gameplay Programmer:help making physical mechanic like tube that show amount of energy in crystal, clock that can point to amout of heat an go on with visual mechanic 3d that player can interact
Oh and i am dump at how to make a house/base
The visual direction is roughly:
**Fantasy + Magical Research + Slight Steampunk / Industrial**
I'm open to different art styles as long as the assets can fit together visually, i'm not sure should my game have npc or not but our planet will fill with Furry.
You don't need to be an expert.
If you're a beginner/intermediate 3D artist who wants to build a game together, that's completely fine.
Ideally, I'd like to work with someone who also enjoys discussing game ideas.
The actual gameplay loop, missions, progression, research system, and world are still open for discussion.
The main goal is to make something interesting together, learn, experiment, and potentially turn it into a real indie game if the project develops well.
