I guess it doesn't give me enough dopamine to wanna play it, but I have nothing against the execution. It seems polished and working as a game.

When I say "No" to do I wanna play it thanks me for playing anyway.

I played a partial round: clicked Yes and cleared cards from the left, center and right piles. The snappy pick-up and changing pile shape make the joke feel tactile. Once cards overlap tightly, I could not tell how many were left without hunting every pile while the timer ran. A small “cards remaining” counter would make the end of a run easier to read without changing the pace.

Cute little game. 16.35 seconds b/c my computer freaked out for a second (too many tabs open, whoops). Only things I'd add: a way to "play again" even if the person says no (the game just sorta stops working after that, including the cursor you set no longer working/moving), a way to turn sound and music on/off, separately.

Clicked Yes. Board was already 52 cards with the clock running, no beat in between. Consent to consequence is instant, and that instant is the joke. Give it 300ms and one sound (a shuffle, a single card slap) and the reveal becomes the punchline instead of a screen change. The Yes/No gate is the best thing here, it earns the whole gag, so do not spend it for free.

Played it. The joke lands because you make me do it: Yes/No gate, then 52 cards on the table and a timer already running at 7.34 before I understood the goal. Two notes. One, the clock starts before the player knows what to do, so my first run is really a tutorial run and my personal best is poisoned. Start the timer on the first card click, not on Yes. Two, Pick em Up is the only instruction and there is no cursor change or hover feedback on a card, so I spent the first seconds unsure if I was clicking cards or the table. The payoff is good. Give me one run to learn it without wrecking my best time. angelmakesgames

Hello !

Nice little reflex game. The core loop is immediately understandable and the randomized card positions help keep each run slightly different.

The audio works really well: upbeat without becoming tiring or irritating.

My main issue was readability. I found the pixel font a little difficult to read in places.

I played about three runs. After that, I felt I had mostly seen what the game had to offer because the only longer-term goal seems to be beating my own record. Some additional goal, comparison, challenge, or progression layer could potentially give players more reason to come back.

Overall, simple and pleasant to play.

Hi,

The animations, visuals, music, and sound effects in this little game are all well done. Great job!

Hi,

I played about five rounds and my best time was 11.93 seconds.

The game is simple and straightforward: move the mouse and collect the cards as quickly as possible. After around five rounds, I felt like I had reached my limit and probably wouldn’t get much faster.

The menu worked perfectly and was fully navigable. The music fits the game well, the sounds are satisfying, and I especially liked the mouse cursor matching the theme.

I also like the pixel art style. The cards themselves might benefit from a little anti-aliasing to smooth out some of the edges.

Overall, it’s a simple but polished little game that does what it sets out to do well.
