I beat infinite faces the first time without every dying to them and the game still says I died to them before when beating them, clearly I am too good at this.

The reason I was able to do this was having an absurd martial will from act 1 (Enough to make it so my power was  150k decillion (I made it run out of suffixes) and than spending a life worth of grinding on enemies to get force tempering to allow me to exercise a fraction of that before ever even being aware of the tyrant.

Fascinating edge case. Thank you for letting me know that can happen.

I don't remember dying to Infinite Faces either? Is there a recorded scene where this happened? And I didn't grind nearly that much. My martial will is at level 1725 and my power is around 20 Qa now, and I'm just working on the first of the six regions, so I guess power was in the T level before? I had maybe 250 force tempering at IF or something? (I have over 550 now but I've been running some fights in this region.) At any rate, I don't remember grinding much at all to be able to defeat IF.

Edit to add: I defeated Shapeshifter first try as well. Not sure if that's what was intended? Seemed like I was supposed to determine patterns of strain and then find the right sequence, but five shifts (each version once plus one repeat) caused enough strain, apparently.

I am beginning to think that I may have left it underpowered during a technical overhaul. I'll give it a review now. Thank you for letting me know.
