Good progression and great art style.

I was hoping the upgrade to complete the skill tree would add new perks or a button with a special ability. It might be cool to give it a different function.

Pufferfish are tough, but swordfish are definitely my favorite.

It’s a cool idea with a lot of potential. I'd love to see different cannons, or maybe more interactive ones that use the keyboard alongside the mouse.

It would be great if enemies like tentacles could stop the ship or deal damage over time unless you hit specific keys quickly.

The final section felt a bit too easy; I thought another boss was coming up or something.

Also, for now, it would be nice to speed up faster with an extra skill, or to have branching paths on the same route so you can choose which way to go.

Combining branching paths with the Kraken fight would fit really well. Instead of staying static in the middle, it could submerge, reappear in different spots, spawn tentacles from various directions, and force the player to take different routes. Ideally, the Kraken could use abilities from all the other enemies: doing dash attacks like the swordfish, shooting poison projectiles itself, or getting too close to the ship—requiring precise hits to fend off, just like with the pufferfish.

All of this feedback is just because I really enjoyed the game and its core concept. It’s truly a 10/10 with so much potential—if you keep developing the game and adding more features, I’d be more than eager to play it again!

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write all this! Super useful stuff! I took a screenshot and shared it with the team. :) We’ll definitely keep this in mind if we update the game. Out of curiosity, where did you find Twisted Tides?

I stumbled upon it during the Brackeys Game Jam 2026.1! The cover art immediately caught my eye, and when I saw it was about ships, I had to try it—it's not a topic you see every day, but I find it super fun!

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any future updates, I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and reply! If you ever need feedback or testing in the future, I'm always happy to help. Best of luck with the game! 😊
