After seeing so many other comments pushing the leaves into a corner, I tried pushing them all into one big pile in the middle as a sort of challenge... it did not go well, they kept wanting to fly into corners and stick there. I did get a majority, but it seems that some of them will always elude me.

I was surprised to see so many people blowing them into corners tbh, because my inclination was also to make a pile in the middle! It does take more finesse though for sure. Because the blower is held on the player's right side, working counterclockwise around the edges allows you to free the leaves from the corners. Definitely probably impossible if you come at it with your left side to the wall haha. Anyway - thanks for playing!!
