COOL, THIS IS A SIMPLE JOURNEY HOME, BUT IT HAS A REALLY NICE FOUNDATION! ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽฎโœจ

I really enjoyed the straightforward idea of just making the player travel back home, and the Aseprite visuals give it a nice handmade style. The BeepBox music also fits the small scale atmosphere well, and itโ€™s impressive that you managed to finish a complete playable experience in around 56 hours.

For the next version, Iโ€™d love to see the journey expanded with more obstacles, enemies, additional areas, and more interaction along the way. Some stronger player feedback would also help make actions and progression clearer. The core is already there, so adding more gameplay around it could make the trip home much more engaging.

A SOLID JAM FOUNDATION WITH LOTS OF ROOM TO GROW! ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŽฎ Be proud of getting a finished game out there, and good luck with the jam! โœจ๐Ÿ‘

Congratulations on your submission! Finishing a game and putting it out there is a massive win in itself, so you should be incredibly proud of the effort you poured into this.

You've built a really solid foundation with strong visuals, decent animations, and working mechanics like the inventory system. There is a lot of potential to iterate and expand on this concept. For future updates, adding some combat, more levels, and some basic audio would quickly bring the world to life. It could also benefit from stronger player feedback like indicating when an action won't work as well as showing inventory amounts more clearly and moving the controls from the description page directly into the game to prevent any confusion. Overall, it's a great jam entry with a lot of promise!

If you have some free time, we would absolutely love for you to check out and play our game as well!

Solid foundation!

I was hoping for some combat since I started with an awesome sounding laser gun. I never found any, sadly.

Visually things are really solid, and all the interactions and inventory are there.

Just needs some more content. Great submission!

Ah, It wasn't THAT bad. I finished it after all!

I mean, the animations were decent, and the main thing that bothered me was a lack of player feedback. I mean- I tired to drill the rocks in the central screen, so it would be nice if there was any feedback that this is not the way.

Also- get on the freesound.org, and download some sfx! And look for some free music, that would help!

Well, I did it, see screenshot for proof!

This sure is basic in its current state but that's fine. You got a few simple mechanics in there and they work. With a bit of polish and sound design, you could iterate and keep adding to this.

From the description on your game's page though, it sounds like you aren't very proud of this. But at the end of the day, you put a bunch of effort in, made something, and put it out there. That's a win in my eyes.

i got confused by what is used for what and i couldent tell how much i have of eatch item the controls should be inside the game not in the description just as a small text and it could use more levels decent work overall
