Just finished the game on standalone Pico 4, my score was about 4 minutes-ish? That was pretty fun, I like how you can see the wind gusts, so you can actually have some control over your movement by changing your height.

However, I think, in terms of gameplay, it would've been better to make the outer cage "smooth" instead of "sticky". That way, you could just slide along it, instead of getting stuck and having to unstuck yourself all the time, which is kind of tedious. Maybe make it a glass dome instead of a metal cage?

The game runs great, it does take a while to load initially, I thought it was frozen for a sec, but it all worked out.

I appreciate the cat eyes in the trees at the start and the silly sound effects.

I wasn't sure what the squares on the right represent, it seems to be some kind of radar I guess? Not sure.

So yeah, that's my feedback, hopefully it wasn't too harsh 😅 (I wanted to give genuine constructive feedback to help improve the game)

Fun idea! The art and the balloon controls were nice and felt polished. I liked the "voiced" sound effects :-)

The only issue I encountered is that I needed to sit on the floor for the balloon controls to be above me and to reach the cannon. I tried relaunching the game while being in different positions to hopefully trigger some automatic height logic or something, but it always put the controls super low. Anyway, not a serious problem, just a little annoying

Yo, the sound affects are awesome!!

Loved playing the game, felt like a drifting sim, felt awesome!! 3min 15 seconds, but i spent too much time flying around and not shooting HAHA.

Felt amazing, controls are smooth, awesome!

I recorded my playthrough, sadly I forgot to "include mic" on the pico video though.

The design was cool, I had fun, loved the air currents.

The wind was crazy. Strategy was to get stuck and shoot the targets from a fixed position :D

I recorded myself playing the game:

It did really look great. And i love the "BOOM" sound:) The motion of the balloon was a starting to make me motion sick, especially with the wind. I liked how you controlled the balloon, pulling the levers felt grate.

Thanks for playing and thanks a lot for recording it <3 Funny to see you get stuck and work out all the bits.

Yeah the motion sick part is a rough part. I had to speed up the balloon movement to make it more gamey but I think if you dialed it down a bit then it would be okay to use in Resonite or VRC as a large space explorer. Slow movement would help a lot.

Though what I remember from my only balloon ride like 15 years ago it gave me more motion sickness than most things. Its a hard thing esp with the sway which I left out. I tried to give motion queues but yeah tough.

FundementallY I think the game idea is flawed but hey jams are for playing around ^_^
