Thank you so much for the in-depth review! A lot of people also loved the speed but that was also the main reason we decided to force an end. When the speed got very fast, it started to break some parts, mostly the sound. We were discussing maybe making an endless mode and for that we would likely cap the animation speed (as the sound connects to the animation).

The sprite animations for the pumpkin are so cute! The different sound effects for pumpkin collection were neat too! Was a bit unsure what the leaves were for at the start but figured that out quickly.

Thank you so much! We didn't want to over explain to the player all the parts of the game as we thought figuring it out on your own is better. Part of the reason why the descriptions for the upgrades are so brief but they do more behind the scenes then just what they say!
Amazing art, great music, good progression. If you decide to update the game, you have an amazing base, and there are endless posibilities to build upon it. As for a gamejam game, you did an amazing job.

Personally, I found our movement speed to be too slow and I find that that kind of thing really takes away from my enjoyment. I think this could be a very fun game with some improvements, starting from player movement speed :)

The pumpkin get sound effect? 10/10 sound. hopping, so cute. I appreciate the level of leaf expected, enough that i can geta feel for upgrading things but not so much that things get tired. the root texture is very strong. I had a good time. if the leafs had an animation for appearing like falling from the top or having a little shadow guy before the land, that'd be nice. Oh yeah the music, very solid diddle, good for the cozies
Thank you! We had actually planned for more animations like the upgrades animating and getting a pumpkin playing on it with every level and of course the leaves spawning but had to cut some parts to get the game finished in time.

Really excellent pixel art here! The pumpkin animation is adorable and I love the progressive pace of it as I collect more pumpkins. I know the music wasn’t written by your team but it was very well chosen, which I think also counts for something ;) congrats on this submission!
Thanks a lot for your feedback! We really wanted the game to feel progressive while still being cozy which is why we spilt the upgrade currency and the goal currency. As for the music, my co-developer realllegend27 spent a long time finding the right sound and the then editing it to be perfect. Certainly wasn't as simple and just finding the right song but we feel that it was worth it in the end!
