Were you questing through Val’sharah when you came up with this?

It’s more ominous than cozy as others have mentioned. Otherwise it’s an interesting take on Snake.

Developer

I was not questing in Val sharah, no :D

very very creative way to reuse snake. i have no criticism

Had to try multiples times the last level... The game is really fun to play !

The fact you go faster if you don't unload your objects in the roots work amazingly !

Good Job :)

I really liked this! It was a fantastic way to take something we theoretically know - like Snake- and turn it into a meaningful game mechanic! The 'go fast when eat more' made for a really tempting game loop. Even when I *knew* I should drop off the items, I found myself holding on and hoarding because ZOOM. ... which meant I replayed the last level more times than I'm proud of! Well done

Developer

thank you! Glad you had fun :D

Fun snake-like! I like snake and enjoyed how you would go faster when you would hold more. I ended up trying to hold more than i could handle at times. Very well programmed game and SFX match the vibe of the game. The game is a bit lacking in the cozy vibe as others have pointed out and I would have liked some simple background music while playing.

thank you for feedback :)

I didn't get cozy fall vibes from this game, but it was FUN anyway!

The sound design matches the visuals, and all the good juice is there. Good job!

It's fun!

I don't feel it gives cozy fall vibes that much, but it is fun to play and to understand

I got to save Yggdrasil :)

Developer

thanks for playing! I focused too much on the "root" part and kinda forgot about the "cozy" part ☠️

Lovely and smooth, well done. Though I must say missing the portal after completing the level hurts deeply...

Also, both our games have wormy things in them!

Developer(+1)

Thanks :) Couldn't find a nice solution for the portal thingy in time 😅

Love me a good ol` snake game. I wasn't sure what to expect on the opening scene but then I figured it out right away. Well done!

Developer

thanks :)

That was really cool! At first I didn’t know what to expect, but I love the idea of reviving a snake game, haha! Brilliant, well done :)
