This game is super fun to play while also definitely standing out from every other game in the jam.  I love the more abstract interpretation of the night and day theme and how that theme is ingrained in the entire art style.  Out of all the entries, this might be one of the most replayable ones for me.  I personally found the boss to be incredibly difficult, but maybe I just havent found the best strategy yet.  My biggest issue with this version of the game is that I can comfortably kill almost all the enemies in the day and I have almost nothing to run from in the night, but I know you all are continuing development and having played a more recent version, I know that issue has been swiftly dealt with.  Overall, this game is one of the best looking ones in the jam while also being really fun and super replayable.

This game gets the day and night feel so right because I feel like a hunter when its day time but as soon as it turns night I turn tail and skedaddle. The gameplay loop is seamless, and the transition between the two is amazing. Finally, the art style is simple yet effective.

Awesome art direction! Love the black/white to go along with the jam theme.

Interesting roguelite mechanic.

Reminiscent of the first stage of Spore (2008) and Agar.io

Great job!

the aesthetics help excentuate the game's thematics... AKA aura. it's cool and fits the theme really well

0/10 - too big of a cliffhanger ending. Spent too much time on pretty things.

Definitely not two FLIPSIDE developers in a trench coat

very clean aesthetic and creative concept! i managed to beat it on the first playthrough and had a lot of fun

not sure if it was intentional, but the 'render distance' seems much, much shorter on the dark side--made visibility extremely limiting and made it really obvious when enemies were spawning just outside of that radius, which felt just a bit cheap to get hit by. i also think the ability upgrades could use a bit more variety, just to spice up future replays

overall super sick game tho, really doesn't feel like a 3-day project at all!
