[HTML5 / Stealth] Hushline — does the "shots silent unless seen" rule make sense immediately?

Hi everyone! I just released an updated HTML5 browser demo for Hushline: https://shellsharker.itch.io/hushline

Hushline is a short stealth third-person shooter (top-ish camera, 10 rooms total; demo covers the first 3 rooms playable directly in browser).

Core mechanic / rule:

Your gunshots are completely silent UNLESS an enemy line of sight is actively seeing you when you fire — then your shot is loud and the alarm meter climbs (triggering hunting guards).

What I'm looking for specific feedback on:

1. Is the core rule clear within the first 60 seconds of playing room 1?

2. When the alarm hits "Hot", does the coral rising-edge toast and blinking indicator communicate what went wrong clearly?

3. How do the controls (WASD move, mouse aim + click shoot, Shift sneak) feel in the browser?

Any feedback on pacing, visual clarity, or controls is hugely appreciated!

PM polish update: just pushed an updated build to the browser demo!

- Clearer rule guidance on title pills: added "Hot ends the room" alongside "Silent unless Seen" / "Seen · Loud".

- Room 1 coach now explicitly notes that firing while Seen triggers Hot and restarts the room.

- Coral alarm feedback pulse when Hot.

Still looking for any first-impression feedback on whether the stealth rules feel intuitive immediately.
