I think it is one of the games I've played the most from the ones I've rated. At first I didn't thought it was gonna feel cozy but then I found myself going back to the stump and laid back picking up kins and leaves.
I loved the "walking" animation and the variation of faces the kins had. Well done :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I was also a bit worried about the coziness of the game with the timer but am quite happy how we managed to balance out the engaging root section with the cozy stump section. Nice score too! I personally only got around 1100 on my standard playthroughs.
In case anyone is up for a challenge, this is currently the highest amount of leaves achieved in a run!

I don't know how I expected a pumpkin to move, but this was the most delightful way it could have! I loved getting them faster and bouncier! I liked the upgrades and found it to be delightful. Also, that loading screen? c'mon. *well* done!
We really enjoyed how the animation scaled with the speed, we started being pretty silly with it and setting the speed level super high. It is was super funny to the pumpkin jumping at Mach 10 and flying across the screen.
The game was short but fun! The Upgrades seemed surprisingly balanced for a game jam game and the ending was very nice! The pumpkin jumping animation was really well done
Thanks a ton! I also really liked how the jumping animation turned out. As for the upgrades, I'll admit I got pretty lucky that the first values i put in were pretty close to the final ones.

This game is short but nice, I like all the different types of faces on the pumpkins. Besides that I agree with what has been written here already; it would have been nice if there were more types of upgrades and things like that. But don't let that discourage you, it's well done!
Thanks a ton, the game certainly could have had even more polish. Next game jam I was thinking to look for someone that could be more focused on the art since I had to split my time programming with designing assets.
Neat little game, I couldn't find a purpose for the leaves though, I just kept collecting them which seemed like for nothing. I also just stacked speed, never took the time upgrade.

Hey, Thanks for trying out our game! You wouldn't be the only one who stacked the speed upgrade, it is the most fun one we found from testing lol. As for the leaves, we could have made it a bit more clear but the number on top of the stump let's you know how many leaves you have till you finish the game (1000 total).
Good fun, I loved all the pumpkins and their goofy noises! Ended with some ~1300 leaves.
The goofy voices are my favorite part too!

Nice! We were thinking about having the player be allowed to keep playing after collecting the leaves but ran out of time, I think the record from our testing was around 1530 leaves.
