Team members and roles
Solo — Nizomov (itch.io: nizomov): game direction, design, testing and polishing.
Game generated with AI Game Studio (own pipeline).

How did you interpret the themes?
Genre Collision: we smashed a detective mystery into a cozy farming sim.
Every level is a small village with a crime to solve — you inspect clues,
question villagers and expose the liar before accusing the culprit. But the
village still has to eat: you plant, harvest and deliver grain at the same
time, and a level only ends when BOTH the case is solved AND the farm plan
is met. Two genres that normally never meet, sharing one map and one clock.

What are you entering?

Game only

Engine and tools used?
Unity 6 (2D, URP), WebGL build.
Built with AI Game Studio — my own automated game-generation pipeline.
AI tools: Google Gemini (game design, code, dialogue), Seedream 5 Pro via kie.ai (art),
ElevenLabs (sound effects and music).

The idea of solving a village mystery while also keeping its farm running is an interesting genre collision. Unfortunately, in Chrome I got a Unity error saying 'TypeError: not granted' when interacting with the main menu, and it happened again after reloading. I could reach the title screen, but could not properly explore the farming or investigation. I hope that report helps with testing the Web build; the premise caught my interest!

Developer

Thanks for reporting this! I just tested the Web build again in Chrome on my side, and the main menu and game are working normally for me. I’ve attached a screenshot from the test. I’ll still investigate the TypeError: not granted issue to see if it could be browser- or environment-specific. Really appreciate the report!

Looks like an interresting game, but unfortunately i can't read any of text because of the language. I tried to change it to English, but all the dialog is just null and a full stop (.)

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah some dialogue paths only have one line, which unfortunately causes the English text to show as “null.” I added a notebook to help with keeping track of the story and clues but I definitely need to improve the dialogue handling. Thanks for the feedback!

its super all over the place, no idea why the player can plant crops or build, but apparently they can. I give points for creativity because its an interesting fever dream

Developer

“Haha, ‘interesting fever dream’ is honestly a great way to describe it .Thanks for playing! I’ll definitely work on making the farming and building mechanics more understandable.”

interesting concept but this one felt a little all over the place. Wasn't sure where I could or couldn't walk, or really how to proceed. Would love to see this come together a bit more so I can find out who done it!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! 😊 I’m glad you found the concept interesting. I definitely agree that the navigation and progression could be clearer. I’ll work on making the world and objectives easier to understand — hopefully you’ll be able to solve the mystery next time! 🔎🌾
