fun little game but similar to others, i couldn't get past the 1st level.  i feel i only got to 9/10  after a few tries because i was trying to min/max -- i would dig up all the graves in a row then walk through all the graves to collect the gems and i feel like i am only playing that way because it takes a long time to wait for the collision boxes to go away. and even then, i felt i must've gotten lucky with the gem placement. it feels rng rather than skill-based at the moment (which is not a bad thing, but can feel "unfair"), i'm sure it's partly because i haven't figured out the pattern but i felt i had no time to really stop and think about it (of course i can just restart a bunch but the mindset is to start as the level starts). i think changing the time for collision boxes to disappear or extending the current time a little could make it feel less rng. i'm not a huge fan hand-holding so i don't think gem spawn patterns should be spelled out, but maybe some guidance on what to look for before the level/time starts could help as well. at the very least, i think that gives you time to think about what to look for before you're thrown in. lastly, i think mouse input might have accidentally been allowed (at least on the start menu).

i hope i did not blab too much and wasn't too critical T_T just wanted to make sure the player mindset (at least mine) made sense. echoing other comments, the art is absolutely lovely and the sounds are great. i think just tuning the time stuff will help the game a lot! i hope to get to the next level one day lol.

I appreciate the feedback. I did test a few time limits, ranging from 60-180 sec and 90 just fell right on that sweet-spot that felt like a classic GB experience. And as for the collision issue, trust me, I desperately wanted to fix that. I ran into some issues I'm sure were rooted in me being a first time dev.
