Hi! Thank you again for making the Godot version. I purchased the full Cozy World Bundle and just wanted to confirm the license terms before integrating it into my games.

May I:

  1. use the assets in commercial games,
  2. use the same purchased assets in more than one commercial game/project,
  3. modify the assets/materials/shaders as needed for those games,
  4. keep the source assets in a private version-control repository accessible only to the development team/contractors working on the games,
  5. distribute the assets only as part of the compiled games, while never reselling or redistributing them as standalone assets?

Also, is attribution required?

Thank you! I just want to make sure I follow your license correctly. 😊

Hi! Thank you so much for your purchase and for checking the license terms 😊

Yes, all of the uses you listed are allowed:

1. You may use the assets in commercial games.

2. You may use the same purchased assets in multiple commercial games/projects.

3. You may modify the models, materials, shaders, and textures as needed for your games.

4. You may keep the source assets in a private version-control repository accessible only to your development team or contractors working on the project.

5. You may distribute the assets as part of a completed game/product.

The main restriction is that the assets may not be resold, redistributed, or repackaged as standalone assets, asset packs, templates, or source content — whether on itch.io, the Unity Asset Store, or any other marketplace/platform.

This restriction also applies to modified versions of the assets. For example, changing the model, materials, adding new textures, or editing the existing textures does not make it okay to resell those assets as an asset pack.

However, modifying the assets for use inside your own game is completely fine, and you may commercially sell/distribute the finished game containing those modified assets.

Attribution is not required.

Thank you again for supporting my work! 😊

One additional note for clarity:

I personally confirm that the license permissions stated in my previous message are intended to remain valid permanently for as long as I am alive.

I will not later change those terms retroactively for assets you have already purchased and used in accordance with the permissions stated above.

If my previous message ever displays an “edited” notice, please consider that message no longer valid as proof of these terms. In that case, only a new, separate, unedited statement from me should be considered valid.

I respect the work, time, and effort you put into your games, and I want you to be able to use the assets you purchased with confidence, as long as the assets themselves — including modified versions — are not resold or redistributed as standalone assets.

Thank you again for supporting my work.
