I thought this was very cute! It cracked me up to when I realized the bugs aren't just going to eat my food but actually carry it away. It definitely gets hard fast but I thought it was a fun jam game.

thanks! we saw a game online do something similar and we just had to put that in the game of them walking off with the food, and I liked the idea of you needing to pick it up and put it back. Yeah we needed to spend more time balancing the experience for players.

Really engaging game, reminds me of those old ipad games. The bugs however jumped me in wave 4, so yeah...

Developer

thanks for playing! yeah it can get really tough especially without the weapons. We had trouble setting aside enough time for balancing and so it might be harder than it should.

sometimes no thing appears, until every thing appears at once and it gets impossible to defend

i dont feel like im making progression even tho i spent like 20 minutes playing, wich is quite a long time for a game jam game i believe.

the assets feel like the where just made in paint in like 30 seconds each, i think you could have done something way better with those in the 2 weeks the gamejam lasts for

Developer

thanks for playing and the feedback. 20 minutes is a long time, can you be more specific about that feeling of lack of progress? like didn't get past a specific wave? or something else? You are right we could have gotten better art I planned on doing better drawings but ran out of time trying to bug fix and we spend longer than we probably should have adding features/ upgrades. (well I probably should have better prioritized the art, and spent more time on weekends working on the art)
