Oh god, i am so happy playing this. The art and the music is so on point. Also the chinese basic characters theme that i learned when i was a kid. The only things that is lacking is maybe vfx, though it could be added later after the jam.
Basically there is so many arsenal or weapons in the shape of chinese characters and so many upgrades. And your upgrades have a philosophical meaning too that you can bring to the battle and do some effect to the enemies based on the meaning.
And the animation.. Oh the animation is so good. I learned from the animation of this game. I think some simple animation like for example scale and fade in along with more thumping sfx can be added when you put a glyph.
One of the better game i have played. Very nice game and very polished!
