WAIT, THE ROCKET IS THE WAY HOME?! 🚀🌌😂

Such a fun interpretation of the theme! I love the simple goal of crossing this strange world just to reach the rocket that can finally take you back to your planet. The quirky pixel-art style gives the game a lot of charm, and the movement makes the journey feel like an actual adventure rather than just walking toward the finish.

For a first game jam, especially with around 30 hours of development, this is a really solid start. I’d definitely polish the movement and make the controls a little clearer, particularly around the wall-climb/dash mechanics, but there’s a nice foundation here to build on.

GREAT FIRST JAM! 🚀🏠✨ GOOD LUCK! 🎮🔥

This is a great first attempt!

The visuals are quirky and cool. The gameplay is engaging and has potential.

The wall climb was a net negative on my speed. It should be implemented in a way that doesn’t slow the player down or hinder vertical traversal.

There’s potential here. Polish it a bit more after the jam ends.

Congrats on the first jam!

Cute little game, certainly has a vibe!

For the next jams, I would invite you to check a couple things to make the jumping feel better: coyote time, camera tweening and variable height. Those three mechanics are the classic boxes to tick for a feel-good jump.

Congrats on your first completed jam!

Congrast for your first GameJam!

You mouvement feel nice !

My only downside its that the control was not very well explain , like the direction of the dash that is control with you mouse . Or the Ui and feed back whne getting hit.

But nice work love the artwork to !

Good Job!

I’m have a lot of trouble with the keys :( I can’t really get past the first dash section, when I press dash it just moves me to the right. One time, maybe I was sprinting, I started dashing up instead? But then when I got to the goldberry, I couldn’t eat it, and my dash always went straight up.

Would like to try again, but not sure what I’m missing.

Good start for your first jam, it obviously needs polishing in the visual and movement aspects but its okey! The dash mechanic is similar to the one my game has
