Nice execution, pretty polished with the tutorial. It might be a skill issue but I couldn't quite get the controls; felt like I was moving the handles and the kite wasn't responding, only managed to collect a few batteries.
Also worked on steam frame with lepton, cool.

Cool concept! The controls worked great, and the art and sound were very nice. However, it was maybe too easy? Anyway, great job!

Awesome game! Really addicting HAHA.

Feels awesome, really liked haptic feedback. Even tried to speedrun LOL. 3 batteries in 5min. But im thinking its too slow lol.

Also really liked the music.

Random Suggestions:

  • Add more tornados horizontally, because it felt too cheezy to go too far right or too far left.
  • Would be cool to have pitch controls and see the tilt of the kite.

good game. didnt get it at first, it didnt show me charge, might be an issue of mine. once I got it it worked fine, love the haptics and the controls. pitch control would have been great

This was amazing. Very original, I really like the sound/haptic feedback on the drone

My Playthrough:

Nice controls and audio, controls explained well with a full tutorial (waw!), liked the vibes a lot, fun endless experience.

Random suggestions:

  • it would be cool if there was some wind that pushed you in random directions and you had to fight it with the controls
  • could use more variety in the tornado generation
  • the kite would look way cooler if it tilted a bit when your turn it
Developer(+1)

I love that suggestion. If I make an update to it I will play around with more wind based obstacles. Thank you for playing and the feedback.

Love the control system. Sky looked amazing too!

Would love to see the drone bank left/right and both ropes to control pitch!

Thanks!

Thank you! You're right, the drone is a little stiff lol. If I update it I'll include that as a feature.

Controlling the drone was surprisingly fun.

Thanks! I had a fun playing with it, I'm glad you did too.

I recorded playing the game :

I liked the menu and the tutorial. They were nice and detailed. Nothing happened when i had collected 100 battery charge. I like that you controlled the kite with your hands. I was able to fly the kite/drone backwards, seemed like a bug.
Developer

Thanks! I think I could make it more clear what to do when the battery hits 100%. The idea is to reel it back in to collect it. I'm toying with the idea of a progression system to unluck new drone types and such.

Very nice and well polished entry. The gameplay fits the theme perfectly.

Thank you

Great work! I really like the atmosphere and styling. The menus and tutorial felt really polished. My only critique is that it was really hard to hold onto the handles to control the plane. That might have just been my index controller's grips getting worn out though.

Developer

Thank you! I had toyed with the idea of toggling the grip, and probably should have chosen that method instead of forcing the grip. I tested on a Quest 3 and forget that the Index has a different grip mechanic. I appreciate the feedback!
