Wow, that was really cool! Love the art style, and the way the objects in the periphery reacted to the music. Super fun to go wild combining the different sounds. I'm not entirely sure how it fits the theme? Super fun in any case :-) Great job!

Hi David!
Thanks for giving the Occulator a run!
My interpretation of the theme 'Adrift' was based on polyrhythms - sample loops going adrift, chaotic sounds, moons orbiting, confusion in trying to remember which laser makes what sounds and your mind getting lost in the noise.
A little abstract, I agree, but here we are.
Thanks for your comments, glad you enjoyed it!

Really liked creating music chaos!
Visuals are great, flying glowing objects that match the beat are cool.
Random suggestion:
- Add sound effects for when hand is inside the beam, and for the loop toggle.
Will definitely recommend this to my friends.
I love the visuals and the concept. It was fun to discover little things like when you move up and down the lasers it changed the pitch of the sound.
Really pretty and cool, not sure if theres a game loop or more a tool for sounds in vr, either way cool the objects drift around and interact.
Very original entry.
It could use more sample types (or maybe I just failed to find them), such as bass loops, drones, etc.
Thanks for playing!
Lasers 1 and 2 are drum loops, 3 and 4 are drum hits, 5 and 6 are bass, 7 and 8 are synth lines, and 9 to 12 are vocals. There are 6-10 samples per laser and 12 sample packs (press right controller 'B' button to change sample pack).
The total samples are around 480.
Pack:
00 lofi
01 bouncy
02 clean
03 dance
04 deep
05 fat
06 hollow
07 feet
08 riddim
09 running
10 techy
11 psy
I hope that helps - it's an interesting contraption!!
Hey guys!
