Our first game feedback

Hello everyone!

My friend and I are currently developing our first mobile game, and we'd love to get some feedback from the community.
It's a one-button momentum game where you play as a cute little poop cleaning the sewers. The core mechanic is simple: hold to dive, and the terrain does the rest. Along the way, you'll collect waste items such as condoms, hair, food scraps, and other materials that should never be flushed into the sewer system.

Our goal is to raise awareness about sewer pollution in a fun, lighthearted, and engaging way.

We'd really appreciate your honest thoughts on the concept:

1. Does the poop theme make you want to play the game, or does it make you want to skip it?
2. Does the one-button gameplay sound like it has depth and potential, or does it feel too simple/empty?

We're also open to any ideas or suggestions that could make the game more fun, engaging, or educational.

Here is  a short video...

Thanks in advance for your feedback! 🚽💩✨

Do you need artist or programmer?

We couldn't open the video, so this is on the concept only.

Hold to dive while the terrain does the rest is the Tiny Wings loop. That loop has real depth because the timing of each release against each slope decides whether you gain speed or lose it. If your hills reward a well timed release and punish an early one, one button is plenty.

The pickups could add a second layer. Put some on the fast, risky low line and some on the safer high one, and the player picks a route on every hill.

On the theme, a cute poop will be a hook for some players and a skip for others. The icon and the first screenshot carry a lot of weight, so showing the sewer and the cleaning goal up front should pull in the curious ones.

I watched the video. Looks interesting. I think the character is not so easy to distinguish some times. I'd appreciate it if it were a more contrasting color, or it had a stroke on the edge. Other than that it seems fun.

This game seems fun, But I have to agree, the character and the collectible things are hard to distinguish from the background. Normally what I do is give Important things a black outline and give background elements no outline or outline of a somewhat light colour. You will also need to make sure that the player sprite will stand out from the background to help the player to make decisions more quickly.

I think the concept is interesting and I don't mind the poop theme as long as you don't make it too disgusting.
