I finished the whole thing. Controls were a bit tough to master, but the silliness kept me going. I really like the vibe and the kaizo difficulty.
Congratz on making your first game! Controls were a little awkward, and the levels were a little ragebaity, not sure if that what you were going for or not. The sound effects did give me a chuckle though, lol
arrow key inputs is straight 2 jail game mechanic. pomniman was a good kek.
Wasnt a fan of the controls, it seemed really odd and i just couldnt handle it and it became unplayable for me, but you said its your first game so Yeah Great work,
In terms of controls tho, i would usually add wasd as movement as well which cos you made in Godot is really easy to do, also having space as just and click as dash and maybe even controller support.
This was amusing, woud be a great rage bait game, especially if the controls stayed as is. Being able to skip the dialogues after the first run-through would be nice though.
I love how shamelessly silly this game is.
With the way the controls are set up I kept pressing dash when meaning to jump. Despite that I did mostly enjoy playing it. Keep up the good work.
I really liked the story, the writing and the art (silly as they are). I don't mind the sound. Dubious educational value. :)
I don't mind the big challenge. The controls make the challenge a bit bad (the controls were way too weird around dashing into enemies imo), but what made me stop playing is that pressing R to retry makes you go through all the dialogue again. That might be okay on earlier levels, but when there's lots of spikes and insta death, it just becomes annoying. Also WASD would have been nice.
I got to yellow big guy, that i could not kill or make to fall down - I guess it is boss or smth. Maybe game idea is good, but it was too challenging for me. And all sounds were for me too annoying :( And that I had to use arrows instead of WASD was the most annoying and frustrating thing in this game.
when i playtested it i find it pretty easy to bait him to fall down so i made it a feature :_) yes you are supposed to bait him to fall down
This game is incredible, but why is pomni a man? Fun boss fight, art style suits the game too.

Small tip I can give you is to not let you do the whole convo over again after dying cuz now ya need to spam it to continue ! Also I was sadly nto able to get past the 3rth level with the spikes. Oh and a tip, don’t add waay to many zombies at once, it caused the web build to lag. Cool first gamejam entry tho! Curious what you’ll be up to in the future!
I love the vibe this game gives off and the humour. I definitely have a skill issue so I didn't get very far but overall I really enjoyed it. Love the SFX too

Dang this game was tough/I am not good at it haha. Good job on your first full game you should be proud. The dialogue despite u saying it was hard was done well. I would say that when an enemy hits you maybe a few frames of not being hit would help the player progress. That aside a good platform game.
i frames are good but no i frames is funnier :>
