Thank you for a very thoughtful message. I agreed with all of your points and while I was working on it I had the same thoughts. I come from more of a coding background so admittedly am pretty weak in the writing area, which is why I chose to use existing story instead of coming up with my own haha. I do want to take some writing courses and get better at it and hopefully I can make future games more compelling. I will go back and fix some smaller issues you and the other commenter left after the jam but because it was a learning experience for me and I have others ideas that I am excited to build I think I will leave it the way it is story structure wise. I took note about diverging storylines coming together too quickly and characters being a bit flat because I do think that will make the game more interesting since it is hinged on the story since it's a VN lol. Again thank you for taking your time to play and your feedback will definitely help make me become a better developer for my future projects!

Thank you so much for making such a lovely game, and good luck in the future! I hope that my comment didn't come across as too harsh - we (me and a teammate) really enjoyed playing it :) I could definitely see the coding side there, but I don’t think that you should feel too down on your writing either. It’s only going to go up from here, especially with that proactive attitude.
I’m really looking forward to see what you decide to do next. Do you have a particular concept that you’re excited to have a go at?
Oh no I didn't think it was harsh at all! I prefer people leave comments then play and not say anything cause then I can't learn from the experience. For my next idea, it is probably too ambitious for my skill level at the moment but my dream is to make like an RPG kind of like Dave the Diver. I love that game and the humor was right up my alley not to mention all the fun mini games to make each mechanic very unique and interesting. So I might just start practicing making small mini games to learn to develop the skills then maybe build something bigger when I feel more confident 🤔
