Probably my favorite visual presentation this year. I love how something's always moving, it makes the setting feel alive and like anything can get you. However the tone was more somber than I expected.

This game has a really good grasp of bayou superstition and mythos. Even the rougarou showed up! The thing that always jumpscares me at the new orleans zoo because it's behind a corner. DX. Is there any set year this is set in? I'm guessing 1890's.

Anyway, 5's across the board.

Thanks for all the kind words and sharing your experience with the game!  It was fun to share with the team some of weirder superstitions and folklore around the bayou and in Louisiana in general.  And actually at the beginning of the jam I shared with them the picture of the rougarou from the New Orleans Audubon Zoo because that used to freak me out too! But it's so weirdly endearing looking at it now:)

We tried to set it roughly somewhere in the 1800s and the artist and writer did a lot to try and keep that in mind while creating everything!  Thanks again for playing!
