Fun runner with a flipping mechanic, but that difficulty curve hits like a truck. 😂
The game gets hardcore pretty quick! I almost couldn’t get past the first up-down-up-down-pits, and then got hit with the same pattern, but with spikes! What was the chain reaction mechanic you had in mind for with the enemies?
The core jump-and-lane-switch feel is snappy and responsive, and the pixel art title screen is charming. As you mentioned in the comments, the connection to the Chain Reaction theme feels thin right now — maybe a mechanic where one obstacle reaction triggers the next could tie it in more directly.
For the Defold jam, theme doesn’t align.
However, the game is pretty fun and it be great to expand on the mechanics and levels.
I had an idea for implementing enemies with a chain reaction mechanism, but I didn't have enough time to implement it.
