Hey, thanks for playing!
Moving back and forth does get tedious quickly! It's the #1 thing I have to design around in later stages at the moment.

It did have WASD movement before, but I felt this game should be playable with mouse only: so that's where I'm balancing it around. Enabling WASD movement broke the pacing completely...

In that case I'd still at least consider other ways of implementing movement for a few different reasons:
* Even if you don't like a certain play style, the ability to assign key bindings is usually very appreciated
* Some people want an easy experience. Keep in mind that 1M books is a lot.
* What are other ways you can balance the game? Maybe certain upgrades need to be harder to get. You could even make upgrades optional instead of automatic so that way people can either play with or without them (easy vs hard mode). That way even if movement is fast with WASD, there's other things keeping the game at a fair level.

Just my opinion though, I'm just excited to see whatever you end up doing!

Thanks for your input and ideas! Don't worry, I've got a few things cooking to ease the traversal (like a minimap for example).
