Yay thanks! \(^_^\) (1.5 hours is longer than I thought it takes though, I guess you took it slow?)

Yeah of course!

Yeah I'm currently experimenting with an upgrade tree, it's hard to balance! Thanks for playing :)

New update is in!

Thanks :)

Thanks for your input and ideas! Don't worry, I've got a few things cooking to ease the traversal (like a minimap for example).

Hey, thanks for playing!
Moving back and forth does get tedious quickly! It's the #1 thing I have to design around in later stages at the moment.

It did have WASD movement before, but I felt this game should be playable with mouse only: so that's where I'm balancing it around. Enabling WASD movement broke the pacing completely...

Thanks for playing and your kind words! You won't be the only one playing without a mouse! I've added a way to also move the camera with left clicking :)

Actually found the bug! Fixed! Thanks for reporting it :)

OK thanks! I actually want some form of discovery and wonder what each upgrade will bring during the game.

Did you notice the new icons and are they more clear to you now? I also added a lot more cats to the beginning ;)

Yeah you're right! Thanks for pointing it out - will be fixed soon :)

Thank you for playing! I understand your issues: was there any upgrade where you never knew what it actually did? I'll rework the error icons, I agree that they are confusing!

Hey! I've tried to reproduce this and sadly couldn't. Some details could help me: Was this in the beginning zone before you could actually move the camera? Did you reload the game and start from a save game? Thanks!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!

thank you!

thank

Thank you! I'm no artist myself and it gets harder and harder to avoid AI generated art, even when trying to commission it, glad you noticed!

Thank you! Yeah it's no real fullscreen but what itch.io calls fullscreen... you can press browser back or simply reload the page (progress is saved automatically).

Fair! I will! Thank you for playing!

<3

THIS CAN'T POSSIBLY BE THE BEST THING YOU'VE PLAYEDDD! BUT I'M GLAD YOU'RE EXCITED, ME TOO!

Aww thank you <3

Thank you so much! This made my day :)

Glad to hear! Working on it!

Thanks! I've got a lot of ideas already for future upgrades :)

Thanks for playing! I changed the clock SFX just for you ;)

Glad you liked it :) more is coming soon™!

Haha, thanks! I'm working on more!

Thank you! Not being exhausting is exactly what I am going for :)

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Why were you right-clicking in the first place if I may ask?

Thanks! The plan is that it really goes to 1 million with the library growing chapter by chapter. The Grand Book archive is great! Glad that there are more of us making cozy book sorting games :]

I agree! I'll adjust it in the next update :) thank you for playing!

(1 edit)

Thanks for playing and the ideas! You can actually drop the books with right click but sorting them (beforehand) isn't the goal in this game. (And I have no idea how to actually do it in a good way in a 2D setting)

Working on it! Thanks for playing :) Comments like this make me want to keep going!

Thanks! I will continue :)

Thank you! Every feedback means a lot to me :]

Hey! Yeah that's the end of the prototype for now, the arrow was meant to point to this comment section, guess I'll have to make it a bit more clear. Thanks for playing!

Hey, I just played through the demo (beating the boss). I liked a lot about it and I can myself playing it once it gets released. However: the demo has some problems I wrote down while playing:

  • took me a while to understand biomass conversion
  • elite enemy currency was quite useless (when I unlocked it)
  • the start was  a bit slow
  • I often forgot the digitroids deployment (until auto-unlock)
  •  enemies are quite hard to see (you realize this yourself that's why you added the pointing fingers)
  • a lot of upgrades felt useless (like finger nova)
  • I understand you tried to have some kind of vertical slice for this demo but at times it fell flat (I had like 30 cassettes when I unlocked the mechanic to scrap them and that was close before I finished the demo). At the end I could purchase a lot of upgrades after each round which even introduced new mechanics but at that point I already beat the boss.

I like the art-style / music / sound effects / atmosphere a lot! Well done. Good luck with your game!

Compete in 26 minigames and fill a graveyard with headstones while doing so. You can continue playing even after you've lost a round by steering your ghost and annoying the other players.

This is the itch.io page, no install needed, playable from the browser:

I'd love to get some feedback from you guys, I've poured my heart and soul into this over the last two years.
