I wanted to play it more, but after I entered the code, I didn't know how to open the chest; I clicked, but nothing happened.
How????
Charming art! And the music is so cozy! The game is short though. Like my review :)
This was a cozy little game. I really like your pixel art, and loved seeing that it was hand-made by you. Very good job. Thanks for making this!
Such a fun concept! Catching fish to uncover the code for a locked chest is a clever way to combine fishing with puzzle-solving. I especially like the idea of each catch becoming a clue you can check in your notebook. The chest gives the fishing a clear purpose, and “The Fish Knows” is a great title for this little mystery!
What a cozy little night at the dock. Reeling in an old boot and a bottle before the grumpy red, blue and yellow fish finally showed up made the catches feel earned, and reading their riddles in the notebook to crack the chest was a sweet payoff. The moonlit pixel art is lovely, especially the glowing ring at the end.
This is a creative and fun fishing game. I was confused at first but after the second fish I knew what to do. This is such and fun and unique concept that my only issue is that I wish there was more of the game to play! :)
Why are the fish so angry?^^
The main menu is super strong, very athmospheric. The whole time laps framerate works very much in its favour.
Good choice in art assets used.
I wished I could say much in terms of gameplay. I love fishing games, I wished there was more of it here. Was prepaired for an entire series of items to be recovered, alas the ending came disapointingly early. Would have loved to see a second or third item / puzzle chain.
👍
Nice art and sound. Interesting concept.
Got the code but couldn't enter it on the chest. Would love to see a more gamified fishing mechanic. The audio and art style were nice.
