I think ASCII art could be considered an image. If it doesn't break the rules, it at least goes against the spirit of the jam. At least that's what I think.
Hi, sorry for the delay! In the past we've ruled that you can use ASCII art in your entries, so we'll be going with that this year too. You just cannot change the color or make other custom styling tweaks to it.
