Really enjoyed this game! The storytelling, atmosphere, and art style were amazing, and piecing together the clues made it even more engaging. Great work bringing this unique and unsettling experience to life! :D
Such a well done and thought out story. Connecting the small details was a really nice experience. All the stories were captivating and unsettling in their own ways (especially the first even though it was a bit long). The artstyle was pretty cool as well. Would love to play any follow up games or if this is made into a longer full length game.
Really awesome job with this, loved the story and art, it was really interesting and cool to figure it out! :D
Oh wow this was a really cool experience, I enjoyed it a lot! The stories were great and kept me interested and the additional puzzle element was really fun to do :D
I got into the box and I won't say what was in there because spoilers, but can you tell me if there's anything else I'm supposed to do after I interact with what's in there? :o
First off, huge props for solving that puzzle,my Reddit inbox has been flooded with people asking for hints, so I'm genuinely impressed you cracked it! To answer your question: nope, interacting with the box is the official end of the game. But there is a lot of hidden lore left to piece together. The title 'redstring' is a hint to connect the dots between all 4 tapes and to find out what the red string is .There are quite a lot of easter eggs to the actual truth of the world too hidden here and there. Also, a little tip for the black box: One of the things you found inside the black box is the two paper clipping s.those two paper clipping that seem totally disconnected are actually verses from the Book of Enoch. I'll let you theorize on what that means! Thanks a lot for playing. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Captivating short stories and atmosphere! Really enjoyed this one. The little puzzle was fun as well, made me go through the documents in more detail.
Thanks a lot! I'm glad the puzzle worked out that way for you. Half the mystery is digging through those documents and finding all the hidden threads connecting the stories. Really appreciate you taking the time to play and read through it all.
I didn't expect THE STORIES to scare me!!! AND I FIGURED OUT THE PASSCODE YAY!
Hi can you tell me how you got it please. Thanks
Hey! Thanks so much for giving it a try. If you're stuck, the main trick is to look at the notebook and match the storyteller's tale to the documents. Here is a little breakdown:
Hell yeah, glad the reading actually managed to creep you out! And massive props on figuring out the passcode . Appreciate you checking it out.
I really liked this game's visuals, story, the idea. Really great work, but it's a little too long; some people might get bored
Thanks so much for checking it out! I definitely got a bit carried away with the writing on the first tape haha. but I appreciate the feedback. Glad you liked the concept!
