Great art style! I liked the puzzle element, got caught a few times, but eventually figured it out.
This is a cool concept, I struggled quite a bit to figure out what to do, so would be cool to see a future update with a bit more tutorialization and a skip button so when I retry I don't need to rewatch the intro. It's a cool idea and has a great sense of humor, love the fun style of illustrations you have done!!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, we were going for a puzzle idea to make it a bit hard, with the guests giving you hints on what to do, but a tutorial is definitely in order! If we keep working on it, we will for sure add those features!
I too would like to sabotage my friends date when they don't show up to game night.
Was busy sabotaging the pizza, and got caught, would like a way to see the waiters while in the various menus.
Enjoyed the different minigames, good job.
Thanks for playing!
You can see the waiter detection meter in the minigames, and then you can just press escape to exit the minigame and hide, but without a tutorial I totally get the confusion. If we keep working on it, will we definitely ease the player in slower!
Didn't expect a silly MTG inspired, early 2000s comedy style relationship-ruiner, with the Rust wood chopping minigame in it... but here it is :D Had lots of fun playing this a few times, hope you can get the pod back together one day!
I liked the interpretation of the theme, and like the art style and humor I think the only thing is I could not figure out how to get out of the pizza menu, whenever a waiter saw me.
I couldn’t really figure out what was going on in the game, but I really liked the restaurant music. I think it fits the game really well, especially with the theme of simply watching and observing people. The music gives the game a nice atmosphere and matches the idea behind the game.
Howdy! Thanks for trying it out! We didnt really get allot of time to playtest so I can see how you got confused. Basically there are tasks you can do in the restaurant that can effect the date that's about to happen, and you can hide from the waiters but clicking "H". You also have to hide before the timer runs out so the couple doesnt catch you there trying to sabotage their date!
Finding the sabotages is half the game though, when we upload a post Jam version with colour maybe it will be easier to play! xD
