this was really great and fun and surprising!

I got what the game was putting down with the BG's, I loved the twist of the no-hidden-word twist at the start
the way the white appears to be a hint for gray (in fact I still don't really know why gray's "bg" looks the way it does when it's not doing alien diagonal connections exactly)
I thought gray was going to be 'diagonal connected' with a diagonal prevented pattern due to this for like 5 seconds
I feel the finale should've been more twisty-connected and multicolored but it's still a good puzzle!
I did get 'stuck' at chapter 6 due to not expecting white's relevancy / wonder if the connectedness would be more foreshadowed with a different approach or even not having the grid borders, it still feels visually 'not quite justified' to me especially as if you treated those outsides like they were real then a lot of impossible patterns would happen, of course
